Infanta Solar Power Project

The Infanta Solar Power Project, located in Brgy. Pita, Infanta, Pangasinan, spans 2,375.61 hectares with a dedicated solar project area of 562 hectares. This initiative is designed to house a hybrid Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a total capacity of 181 Megawatts.

Aimed at reducing the country’s dependency on expensive imported fuels, the project aligns with the Philippines’ commitment to the UNFCCC for a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

By leveraging renewable energy sources, the Infanta Solar Power Project also seeks to support poverty alleviation in remote areas through the provision of affordable electricity, marking a step towards sustainable development and environmental preservation.
