Lingayen, Pangasinan—CSFirst Green Agri-Industrial Development, Inc., a pioneer in industrial bamboo manufacturing and sustainable development, is set to participate in the upcoming Manila FAME 2024. The prestigious event will showcase some of the finest and most innovative products from the Philippines, promoting local craftsmanship to a global audience.
In preparation for this significant trade show, a comprehensive product presentation and development activity was held on August 5 at the Provincial Training and Development Center 1 (PTDC 1). This event aimed to finalize the list of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that will represent Pangasinan at Manila FAME 2024. The session also provided a platform for briefing participants on potential product design enhancements with the expertise of the Design Center of the Philippines (DCP).
CSFirst Green Agri-Industrial Development, Inc. was among 13 MSMEs selected to join the exhibition. Known for their groundbreaking work in engineered bamboo products, CSFirst Green continues to lead the charge in promoting eco-friendly innovations and sustainability. Their participation underscores Pangasinan’s potential to make significant contributions to the global market with their unique and high-quality bamboo creations.
During the August 5 event, the DCP team provided hands-on assistance to the 13 MSMEs, evaluating and assessing their products. Factory visits, further product development, and booth design planning were scheduled from August 6 to 8 to ensure that exhibitors are well-prepared for the event.
Dr. Arlyn Grace V. Guico, Founding President of Project Abound, expressed optimism for this year’s participation, noting the previous success at Manila FAME. “As you embark on your venture, always remember to have our Lord, Jesus Christ, with you by keeping Him in your heart and seeking His guidance. He provides everything—even ideas, skills, knowledge, wisdom, and more—to success, so start rightly your story now,” she advised the participants.
Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino also reiterated the provincial government’s dedication to supporting local MSMEs and fostering self-reliance within the community. “Kami po na inyong lingkod bayan, andiyan po yong obligasyon naming magsilbi, mag provide ng mga programa at proyekto sa ating mga kababayan… nagbibigay ng suporta upang sila mismo ang makatayo sa kanilang sariling mga paa,” he said.
Governor Ramon V. Guico III, represented by Provincial Legal Officer Baby Ruth F. Torre, emphasized the administration’s vision for MSMEs as critical players in economic growth. Following the success of previous trade expositions, Governor Guico initiated the establishment of the Pangasinan Trade Center (PTC) to foster continued economic growth and sustainability, reinforcing the province’s status as an emerging investment hub.
The Manila FAME 2024 promises to be a platform where CSFirst Green and other Pangasinan-based MSMEs can highlight their ingenuity and dedication to sustainable products. This participation reflects not only the innovation but also the resilience and potential of the local business community.
